Filtration Process

In order to achieve its spot-free rinsing, The Pure Water Power Solar Beast RO/DI - 115V undergoes a thorough four-stage filtration process. Starting at the sediment filter, rust and other large solids are removed from the incoming water supply. Next, the water moves through the carbon filter to eliminate any chlorine. After, the chlorine-free water filters through the two RO membranes. This process, called Reverse Osmosis, removes most of the total dissolved solids, also known as TDS. Finally, the deionization stage, known as DI, filters the water one final time to bring the TDS level down to 0. Now you have the pure water you need to start cleaning those dirty solar panels.

Construction

The Solar Beast is crafted with durable plastic housings designed to withstand rigorous use. These housings hold the 10-inch sediment and carbon filters, along with the 20-inch DI filter. Additionally, the system features sturdy stainless steel housings that safeguard the two 40-inch RO membranes, ensuring the protection of your filters during operation. The inclusion of a dual inline TDS meter allows for convenient monitoring of both input and output readings.

This unit comes as a skid mount with everything securely set up on its steel bars, including the wheels. You have the option to add up to two outgoing reels and one incoming reel, directly connecting them to the system's plumbing.

The Solar Beast stands at 57 inches in height and occupies a ground space of 15.75" x 17". Its compact design not only allows it to be accommodated on a flatbed, but also facilitates versatile mounting in a truck, van, or trailer, either in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

Output

The Solar Beast allows you the choice of utilizing tap pressure alone or incorporating the included 115V booster pump. When relying on tap water pressure, this unit can deliver 1 gallon per minute. To use it with tap pressure simply connect a garden hose directly to the water supply at the job site.

For scenarios that require extending beyond 50 feet, employing the system with the 115V booster pump enables efficient cleaning with up to three water-fed poles. The booster pump can generate an impressive 2.5 GPM. We recommend the use of a 5/16-inch water-fed hose for uninterrupted water flow.

The adjustable flow control box, equipped with a remote control, lets you operate the Solar Beast at distances of up to 500 feet, allowing continuous management of water flow from the pole.
